About Me

James Magnus-Johnston, PhD (ABD), MPhil, BA

James teaches business, political studies, and economics at Canadian Mennonite University. He's also the Director of the CMU Centre for Resilience, a co-working and experiential learning lab.

James has worked in finance, in public policy, and in communications as an editor and translator in Asia. He completed his MPhil in Economics at Cambridge University, where he studied the growth requirement of the global banking system, and is now building on that body of work at McGill.
